
Michele Wyatt-Sweeting brings over 25 years of dedicated service to the social services field. As Chief Operations Officer of Agape Network, Inc., she plays a pivotal role in leading initiatives that strengthen behavioral health outcomes and uplift vulnerable communities. Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to advancing accessible, equitable care through both innovation and collaboration.
Prior to her role at Agape, Michele served as Chief Executive Officer of New Horizons Community Mental Health Center, Inc., where she steered impactful programs and fostered cross-sector partnerships. Her leadership tenure includes serving as the first Coordinator of the Juvenile Drug Court Program within Miami-Dade County’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit—an accomplishment that remains a landmark in her career.
Michele actively contributes to several boards and committees focused on public health and community engagement, including the Miami-Dade County Addiction Services Board, and the Quality-of-Life Subcommittee for the Community Relations Board. She is also a member of The Commonwealth Institute Non-Profit Leader Forum and a graduate of the Miami Chamber of Commerce Leadership Miami Class 43, where she continues to serve on its Non-Profit Subcommittee.
A proud graduate of Florida Memorial University and St. Thomas University, Michele continues to lead with faith and service at the heart of her work. She is a devoted member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Miami Gardens, where she serves on the Praise and Worship Team and Choir.
Michele is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Continental Societies, Inc., embracing the values of sisterhood and civic duty. She has been married to Terrence Sweeting for 27 years and is a proud mother and grandmother. She often cites Job 23:10 as a personal reminder of resilience: “He knows where I am going. And when He tests me, I will come out as pure gold.”
