Lilibeth Acosta, APRN
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
My name is Lilibette Acosta, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My journey in healthcare began in 2015 when I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Keiser University. Shortly after, I started my career as a pediatric registered nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where I had the privilege of caring for children and their families during some of their challenging moments. While working there, I pursued and obtained my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. After three years on the pediatric floor, I transitioned to Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital, where I discovered my passion for psychiatry. For five years, I worked primarily with the child and adolescent population, providing care in a specialized unit. Collaborating closely with skilled psychiatrists and supporting such a vulnerable demographic inspired me to further my education and pursue a master’s degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Nova Southeastern University.
In January 2024, I joined the Agape family, where I now provide psychiatric care to diverse groups, including adolescents, adults, and seniors. The greatest reward in my work is witnessing the growth and progress of my patients as they navigate their mental health journey.
