Maria Gabriela Vargas (Gaby) was hired by the Agape Network in September 2004 and assumed the responsibility of Finance Director in July 2007. She was recently promoted to Chief Administrative Officer in 2022. Ms. Vargas is an accomplished versatile, and innovative financial executive with over 17 years in Non-Profit with strong record of driving strategies, initiatives, and processes that generate dynamic gains in financial performance and operational efficiencies. Creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to effectively align with and support key business initiatives. Solid business leader with unique competencies in all aspects of finance and accounting, leveraging business planning, information technology, financial expertise to reduce costs and improve productivities.
Ms. Vargas has reduced all outstanding debt from the organization to a minimum in the years she has been working with our finances. Our finance department has passed all CARF surveys and all Independent annual audits with no findings and excellent reviews. Ms. Vargas works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure all financial operations are in compliance with the rules and regulations. As the Finance Director, it is essential for this position to work hand in hand with Operations.
