
93rd Street Community Baptist Church
Dr. Pastor Carl Johnson and his wife, Lady Johnson, have faithfully led 93rd Street Community Baptist Church in Miami for many years, shepherding a congregation built on sound doctrine, community service, and love for God’s people. Dr. Johnson is respected for his faithful preaching and his dedication to helping people grow both spiritually and in everyday life. His leadership has made 93rd Street a cornerstone for faith, education, and civic engagement throughout South Florida. Under his leadership the church has grown from 100 to 7000 members.
Pastor Johnson served as the President of the Caretaker for Christ Incorporation; served as the President of the Ministers & Deacons Union of the Seaboard Baptist Association. In 2018, he was appointed the President of the Moderators Axillary of the Florida General Baptist Convention. Presently, he serves as the Moderator of the Seaboard Baptist Association for the past seven (7) years. He was newly elected on April 6, 2023, as the 24th President of the Florida General Baptist Convention. Currently, he serves as a Chaplain for the Florida Highway Patrol Department and Chaplain for the Doral Police Department. He serves as the President of the 93rd St. Community Development (social services) since 1999.
Alongside him, Lady Johnson continues to be a source of encouragement and strength through her women’s ministry and mentorship programs, nurturing countless families and future leaders in the faith. Together, they embody servant leadership leading with humility, wisdom, and compassion. Their vision for spiritual growth and community development aligns perfectly with Agape Network’s mission to bring healing, hope, and transformation to those most in need.
