I am a Mental Health Counselor. I have an undergraduate in Methodology from the University of El Salvador in Buenos Aires Argentina. I graduated in 1994 from the University of El Salvador, with a master level in educational psychology, and in 1998 I graduated at John F Kennedy University, in Buenos Aires Argentina with a master’s in clinical psychology. I moved to Miami in 2002 and validated my degrees. I got my License in Mental Health Counseling in 2010. I got a certification in Infant Mental health as a Developmental Specialist from the University of Miami. Along my career I acquired experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, using a client-centered, humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of Existentialism, mindfulness, family-systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while keeping careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices. My experience has been working with anxiety, depression, trauma-related diagnoses, developmental issues, and other life experiences.
I am committed to guiding individuals and families through life’s challenges. I focus on providing compassionate and effective therapy services and tailor my approve to math the unique needs of clients.
As a therapist I bring 20 years of experience in supporting clients with a variety of mental health concerns and disorders. I always create a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly, without judgment, walking through the clients to a journey of healing and resilience
I provide clinical supervision to mental health therapists, and as a Clinical Supervisor, I am committed to offer supervisees with support, guidance, empathy, and a variety of therapeutic modalities as tools to treat clients with high quality services. I stay informed of the latest developments in the mental health field. My main goal is to encourage clients to reach their highest potential and to help families live more harmonious and happier lives together.
